Back to School!

Kids are back to school this week and they both seem pretty excited so far. Sam is back with old friends and Jason is learning the ropes of high school. It looks to me like Sam's homework load may increase, and Jason's may actually decrease, especially if he keeps up with things.

The birdies are doing great and their micro-macaw personalities are starting to show. They are both learning "step up" and "down" commands pretty well, and Picasso came to me on command twice today. Not flying, wings are clipped, and there was a raisin involved, but that's what works!

Terri is just back from a couple of days out of town, and next week will be normal again. I think. There's a picnic at church on Sunday, back to school night for Sam on Monday, bowling on Tuesday...you get the idea. What's normal, anyway?

I'm tweaking the web site more and more as we go, trying to make everything as smooth as possible. I put all the links in one place today with a nice menu. Most of them are mine, although I got Terri's computer security stuff in there. Check it out, there will be more added as I get input from the other 3 Wahls. My aim is to make it so that whatever you're looking for on our site, you can find it with as few steps as possible and without needing a bloodhound to find it.

Speaking of dogs with noses that work for a living, Boomer was recently featured on a Baltimore news section, and Jason was there to take part. Here's the link to the video. Got to watch for Jason, he only shows up for a minute. Mike and Zeus were down in North Carolina last week (I think, my days are confused) for Zeus to go to school.
